Made for the panels your crews already hang.

EZpanl supports full rigid panel siding while a minimum two-person crew positions and fastens it. Here are the panel lines crews ask about most.

Read this first

EZpanl is a support tool, not a panel-specific accessory. It holds a full sheet at a set height while your crew fastens it. Whether it suits your panel depends on the sheet's size, weight and edge profile, and on the current approved EZpanl instructions. Confirm your specific panel with EZpanl before you rely on it, and always follow the panel manufacturer's fastening, flashing and clearance requirements.

Engineered wood and plywood panel siding

The core use case. These lines are supplied as full sheets, commonly 4x8 through 4x12, in the weight range EZpanl was developed around.

  • LP SmartSide engineered wood panel siding
  • TruWood panel siding
  • Roseburg Forest Products panel siding
  • Boise Cascade panel siding
  • Georgia-Pacific panel siding
  • T1-11 and other plywood panel siding

Fiber cement panel siding

Fiber cement panels are also supplied as full sheets, but they are heavier than engineered wood at the same size and they handle differently. Treat these as a separate application and confirm with EZpanl before use.

  • James Hardie panel products
  • Allura USA panel products
  • Cempanel panel products

Why this list is split. Sheet weight is the variable that matters most to a support tool. An engineered-wood 4x8 and a fiber-cement 4x8 are not the same load. Until EZpanl publishes a validated load figure, we are not going to imply the two behave identically.

What EZpanl does not change

Panel siding is a minimum two-person job. Your panel manufacturer sets the fastener schedule, the flashing, the clearances and the gaps. A support tool holds the panel steady so your hands are free. It does not replace a second worker or the manufacturer's requirements.
